Load-matched suspension

4x4 Suspension Advisor

Choose the vehicle, usage and permanent accessory load to generate a practical starting recommendation for highway, 50/50 touring or heavy overlanding.

Highway

Comfort + control

OE-height or mild lift, comfort-biased dampers, standard/light-rate springs, minimal unsprung-mass increase. Best for daily use, wet-road predictability and long-distance comfort.

50 / 50

Balanced touring

Typically 30–50 mm lift, matched gas/foam-cell dampers and load-appropriate springs. Improves clearance and body control without turning the vehicle into a harsh constant-load setup.

Heavy overlanding

Constant-load package

Heavy-duty springs selected around measured permanent axle load, high-capacity dampers, geometry correction where required and rear load support. Brakes and GVM legality should be reviewed at the same time.

Engineering note: Suspension should be selected from actual axle weights, not simply “50 mm lift”. We recommend weighing the vehicle in travel trim and verifying CV angles, caster/camber, droop, brake-hose length, driveshaft angles and ADAS calibration before finalising a package.
